Resize your signature for an application form

Sign on white paper, take a photo, and get a clean, centred signature at the size your form needs. The default is a common banking size: 140 × 60 px, 10–20 KB.

Files stay on your device, never uploaded

Changes apply automatically, including to a file you've already added.

Your signature

Processed on your device

  • Format: JPG
  • Dimensions: 140 × 60 px
  • File size: 10–20 KB

How it works

We find the ink on the page and trim the empty paper around it, then centre the signature in the frame with a white margin. It is never cropped, so no stroke is cut off.

The result is compressed into your KB range. Small, clean signatures often come out below a portal's minimum; when that happens we raise the quality first and, if needed, add standard metadata to reach the minimum, without changing the picture.

Signing tips

Use a black or dark blue pen on plain white paper. Sign larger than usual, then photograph it in daylight from straight above, without shadows. Don't sign in capital letters unless your form allows it.

Use your exam's size

Signature sizes differ between exams. Change the width, height and KB range to match your notification, or open your exam's page, which already has the official numbers.

FAQ

Why is my signature file under the minimum KB?

A white page with thin lines compresses extremely well, so it can end up smaller than the portal allows. We fix this automatically and tell you when we did.

Can I upload a signature photographed on lined paper?

It works, but the lines will show. Plain white paper gives a cleaner result.
