Why photograph uploads get rejected
- The file is bigger than 50 KB. Phone photos are usually 2–5 MB, so they always need compressing.
- The file is smaller than 20 KB. This happens with small, clean images; we raise the quality first and, if needed, add standard metadata to reach the minimum.
- It's saved as the wrong format: the portal accepts JPG. iPhone HEIC photos and screenshots saved as PNG are common mistakes.
